All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I think that the Walker situation in Buffalo will end up with us gettin a measily 6th round choice for him, and he will go back to Philly, i Understand there are other circumstances, but why not trade him to Chicago, i dont think negotiations are gonna get better after they just signed Vasher to a 5 yr deal, Briggs plays Cover 2 and knows DJ, could a deal be possible?
Cautiously optimistic
any thoughts?

Are you surprised he's changing his mind again? " Poz sucks no he doesn't....."
I doubt we will bring in a franchise player and his salary especially at the lb position. The bills are also tired of disgruntled players like Spikes , Fletch and Moulds. I doubt they want one in Briggs.
Re: Darwin Walker and our extra 3rd for Briggs maybe?
I just cant see the Bills not getting anything for Walker, and only a 6th rnd pick for Spikes, they got to do something, plus i dont think Briggs would be a problem if we trade for him and give him a long term contract, he will be an aweseom addition and will make out D sick, anyone who thinks Poz is gonna suck will be sorely mistaken, the kid can play and will be a beast for us in the middle, if he had Crowell and Briggs on the outside it would be one of the best Young LBer trios in the league hands down
heres to hopin we do something

It won't matter who's at LB if the Bills D-line doesn't step it up. There's many LB out there that can tackle RB's 8 yards down the field.
I'd rather have Tank Johnson.
I dont disagree with u about Tank, i would luv to have his ignorant ass over Triplett and Anderson but Briggs would not hurt our run D at all, in fact he would make a major impact in stoppin the run, i again am just being optimistic, and hopeful that if given the oppurtunity we jump on it
A WALKER TAKER?: With the Chicago Bears cutting ties with Tank Johnson, they're defensive interior is suddenly thin. After letting Ian Scott depart via free agency, Chicago needs some defensive tackle help. Granted the Bears may be no more interested in trying to solve Darwin Walker's contract demands than the Bills, but after making the Super Bowl last year, expectations are high in the Windy City and they're a team that rode it's defense. They need someone to fill that void. More importantly a proven DT is needed to make Brian Urlacher the best LB he can be. It's probably worth a phone call to gauge Chicago's interest.

adds fuel to my fire, i really hope we at least make an offer, then i would be happy
