Miller downplays possible departures

Ryan Miller wants to know what all the fuss is about.

The Buffalo Sabres goaltender admitted he hasn’t been around since shortly after he cleaned out his HSBC Arena locker stall. So he hasn’t seen the lengthening line of fans ready to jump off the Skyway if co-captains Daniel Briere and Chris Drury leave town.

More than ever, it appears if anyone will carry the Sabres on his back next season it will be Miller. On Friday, Atlas shrugged.

“It’s not even July,” Miller said by phone after completing a round of golf in Rochester Hills, Mich. “Why are we worried about hockey now?”

Well Mr. Miller, you might want to worry about hockey now so our offense doesn't have to score 4 goals every game to win since you allow some pretty soft goals. GO PRACTICE! And you better hope the Sabres re-sign two of our best goal scorers so it does take a little pressure off of you.
