He isn't worth close to as much as Thorton IMO. San Jose is going to pay 6.5 to 7 million for a #2 center on their roster? Insane.

Drury isn't the kind of offensive weapon Thornton is.

Doug Wilson is getting a deal on Joe, and once again shows the kind of savvy he has as a GM. Hell, can you imagine if Darcy had started earlier with either Danny or Drury? Perhaps we wouldn't be nervous today, awaiting for that first "Briere to Philthy" or "Drury to L.A." report.
