I really don't blame the Sabres...the system set them up to fail...they don't have the day to day income (and don't look to TG's personal pockets - look what happened to the Rigas when they started playing loose with company, personal and team money) to compete with the big market teams who fetch $100 per ticket. There is no way they could have given $10 million to Briere for this season.
