It might behoove the Sabres to sign him long term at 5 million per, if they can and if he will.

It would actually be nice if somebody did sign him to that type of deal and made the Sabres match it.

Teams have to give up 4 draft picks to offer him more than I think $5+ million.

I wouldnt be the tiniest bit surprised if a team offers him $6 per for 6-7 years.
