It might behoove the Sabres to sign him long term at 5 million per, if they can and if he will.

IF he gets an offer it will be $6 million per year.. Maybe even more.
43 goals and lead the nhl in +/- your second season?
Teams have to give up 4 draft picks to offer him more than I think $5+ million.
I wouldnt be the tiniest bit surprised if a team offers him $6 per for 6-7 years.Comment
