If the paper work could be finished on time, it was to be submitted on Monday. If not, it will go in first thing Tuesday, Donahoe said. The Seahawks will have a week to match Buffalo’s offer and are due no compensation if they decide to pass.

Also some info on Adams too.

Good find. I'd rather have Hollis, but Lindell works for me.

A week... They won't match... As a RFA, I think they might get draft pick compensation... I've seen 2 sites reporting the exact opposite, one says they will get a pick, the other says they won't... It's something to look into.

Guess that means Mike Hollis' career as a Bill is over.

This could put us in a tight spot, if they wait a week and DO match, and hollis gets signed somewhere in the next few days. We would be in trouble.

Well if he is an RFA then they'll be compensated.

Can he do kickoffs?

Donahoe said Lindell would provide them a better leg on kickoffs.

Is there compensation?

The reason there is no compensation because Lindell was undrafted and the tender he recieved was not high enough to deserve compensation.

This is good and bad....bad because of what venis said.....

IF Seattle matches and I think they will...then we might miss out on Mike Hollis. That would mean we would have to sign some scrub or trade for a kicker. AHHHHH!!!

I agree Mike. The market for kickers is rapidly thinning. Seattle may have to force a hand. However, if Seattle matches then they are immediatly taken out of the running for Hollis and Hollis begins to lose options. TD must have a back up plan.

What this does is force Seattle to make a decision. If Seattle does choose to match. I'm sure Lindell is not TD's only option.

guys.. WORST case scenario.. and i mean worst.. is that we draft a kick in the 4th round or so.. the top kicker on the board will go about then.. and from what i read Marlar can boom it.. there is also duval from auburn...

i am not worried.

I think TD knows full well Seattle will match, and this is just to show Hollis we aren't playin around. I'd rather have Lindell, but I just dont see the Seahawks letting him go.

I play that game all the time, it rocks, except our secondary is not portrayed as well as it should be.

Man I hope we sign this guy! He hit like 80% of his field goals and kept getting better each year he played. He also went to the same college as Bledsoe not that that means anything just some info. There's no doubt that TD wanted this guy or else hew wouldn't have offered him a long term deal. I highly doubt that the Seahawks will match reading that article on how they were always messing with this guys confidence. Well come to Buffalo and be on a winnging team Rian. Go Bills!
