All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

and how convienant Chris Brown "raised" this issue last week on his blog. Didnt a few people in here sarcastically say it was the most critical he's ever been of the Bills, lol...
He obviously knew it was coming last week or wouldnt have yipped about him being underpaid.

Good job resigning though anyway.
Maybe Brown is forcing the Bills hand through his blog.

Good call, Pat. I was going to mention it but you beat me to it. Once Homer wrote that blog, it was kind of obvious a Moorman extension was on the way. No way would OBD allow him to write something that "controversial" without some sort of resolution coming.

ha- I called it last week- when Brown brought this up I said an extension was imminent.
Lee, Schobel and Losman, need to be next, we got the room, at least 2 of them need to be kept away from FA, Schobel is 30 but i can see him playin another 5 years at top end speed easy
Didn't Moorman just sign an 8 year deal a couple years ago?
yeah but that was before the salary cap shot up- at the time he signed, it was a fair deal, but times change and he was being severely underpaid compared to other punters around the league.
Nevertheless all of his recent on field accomplishments and league-wide accolades combined with a rising market value for top punters helped lead to a new agreement.
Dallas Cowboys punter Mat McBriar and Carolina Panthers punter Jason Baker were both given five-year contracts each worth $8.5M. The total value of Moorman's new contract now puts him among the top paid punters in the NFL.
"It wasn't so much seeing other players getting contracts as much as it was wanting to retire as a Buffalo Bill," said Moorman. "This will put me through the 2012 season and I hope to continue to be at the top of my game at that point too."
(Although, I'm sure it helps a little being "among the top paid punters in the NFL.")

He probably overheard you taking to your source by the dumpster.
While I am happy he got the extension... I hope he never sees the field next year! I wonder how much of his record breaking year can be directly attributed to a horrible offense weeks 1-8.
