I found that link, with Sabre salaries.
I used my calculator, and for the Sabres players still on the roster at this time, the total payroll constitutes $30.135 million- which give or take has us around $20 million under the salary cap.
Some observations
* next year Brian Campbell is the only valuable UFA. Gaustad will be a RFA. Hecht and Kalinin will be UFA's but I highly doubt we'd resign either of them.
* $5.75 million on this year's payroll for a pair of defensemen (Kalinin and Spacek) who were both BENCHED against Ottawa. We didnt sign Poti or Hannan why?
* Potential holdout? Pomminville is only slated to make 925K this year, after having 30+ goals last year and playing on the first line. Buffalo might want to take care of that soon-- oh, do we negotiate with players while under contract?
* Nathan Paetch is a RFA right now.. I didnt know that. With Tepo gone and 2 other defensemen (above) that suck.. I would think he's going to be a big part of our team this year.
* Gaustad in final year and is getting 750 K this year.. He's an unrestriced free agent.

Summary: if Regier wants to save ANY GRACE with me, he should lock up Gaustad, Pomminville, Roy, Paetsch and Vanek RIGHT NOW-- and change their IDIOT philosophy and start working on Miller next year.
