Re: bye bye Zubrus
you've got to be ****ing kidding me.
This guy played hard every game for us and was the toughest player in the playoffs. We have TONS of cash and they still don't bother keeping him.
Who exactly is going to play for this team next year? A bunch of Rochester guys?

Re: bye bye Zubrus
This is the last straw in my mind.
This guy was our best winger in both New York series.
With Briere and Drury gone, he would serve even a bigger role.
I just dont get it anymore.. at all. I'm lost and confused. I almost feel like that ***** from the movie "major league" is running this team like the Indians and trying to get the fans so alienated they can move or something.

After Briere and Drury, this is much lower on the scale.
They better be looking at a Souray type. Trades are nice, but having to give up prospects when you could have signed FA's is incredibly stupid.Originally posted by mysticsotoLecter is right in everything he said.

But not only is he the best winger left on the market; he's someone who we had, and we know what he brings to the table.
and his terms were only for $3.4 million per year. .that's CHEAP for a 1st or 2nd line winger who also kills penalties well and wins battles on the wall.
Im convinced now nobody is signing with us because we're probably only offering short-term deals.
