Well there are pretty much 3 camps when it comes to Sutton.

1. The little league moms who think he's cute and just loved his "blue hair" stunt before the playoffs. They will tell you his huge body blocked lots of shots.

2. The fans that saw him play year after year while he was here. No lateral movement. Bad judge of when to lay a cheapshot on a smaller skater at a stupid time of the game that managed to tilt the emotions of the other team at just the wrong time.

Huge body that could go into the corners with a dozen raw eggs and not manage to break any.....but mostly, he NEVER went into the corners anyways.

Horrible clearing passes that could be telegraphed from a mile away and intercepted by my grandmother.

Spent his time backpedalling into the goalie's crotch while a skater rushes in with the puck. Hoping to take a shot off his butt as he turned when the shot came, but usually just blocked the goalie's view. Leaving a goal and the goalie's arms flailing skyward as if to say, "I never saw it."

Wouldn't fight anyone if he couldn't see the top of his head when standing next to him.

Mostly just think of a big plastic traffic barrel on the side of the road.

You are a bad hockey player. You have given us prety much the single gayest photograph in the history of the sport. Thanks for having an Atlanta uniform when you spritzed your hair with water. You hit like a ######, you skate like your blades are made of cement, and you shy away from contact. You almost sank Havelid with your horrible play. Lastly, you are NOT Chris Pronger. You're are not even fit to carry his jock.

So in short Sutton, when a guy in the real world goes from number 1 at his position, to number 3 at his position, he's about to get fired. If he really wants to be shown the door, he should ask for a raise after being demoted. Shane Hnidy is a better hockey player than you. Garnet Exelby is better. Nic Havelid is better. Alexi Zhitnik had almost as many points in the final 3 weeks of the season as you had all year. Maybe we should give them 4 mil too.

"Well basically Andy Sutton is a guy who you would not one with your team. Too slow and always out of position, and he's usually just trying to avoid getting hit from the puck. He just stands out there on the ice all puzzled like but the only 2 things that Andy can do is block a shot because he's so big and allow numerous goals."

With Nathan, we already have 7 defensemen. Hopefully Spacek or Kalinin is gone.

Spend the money on a solid second or third line forward--if its going to be a defensemen, dont have it be on someone who's regarded as a pussy, we have plenty of them on the blueline already.
