In terms of who will contribute the most?

I say Chidi. I think he'll play all 3 downs (DT on passing downs) and Price will only play on first and second.

:wail: I haven't seen any games yet, so I can't vote :wail:

I said Chidi, because I think the Bills were hurting a little more at that LDE spot. Just think, if Denney were to start we'd have a LDS at LDE. (Denney is a Mormon - Church of Jesus Christ of LATTER DAY SAINTS)

Glad you explained that one TJ. It went straight over my head at first.

Easy - Chidi has proven in the past that he has the ability to get things done. Price just brings in experience not hard talent.

Ahanatu's best years are behind him. He may have been good at one point, but he's not that great now. He'd be close to backup on most other teams this year. There's a reason he was still available now...!

There's also a reason why he only got a 1 year deal.

Are you joking (whoever started the post). Ahanotu brings a skill we have lacked since '95.

Ahanotu is solid, not great, but solid might be all we need (I hope). His best years are behind him but if he plays smart and doesn't get shoved wide like the others have been maybe it'll work. Same goes for Price. If he does nothing but take on a blocker and stand his ground then he helps tremendously. We really need 2 guys to not be shoved around, I could care less about tackles and sacks. Those will come from other players if the they do the job they're supposed to.

In my mind Chiti's performance would remind us of a much greener Marcellous Wiley....who got consistant pressure but did not get to the quarterback.....and was a solid run stopper from day one.......

In Shawn Price....I think and have always thought that he was very underated....would he be a backup if Ted Washington was still on the team....of course......but I think it is important to remember.....even when Ted was on the team Shawn Price played a lot of goaline situations......he is a very good run stopper who occasionally can get into the backfield....

I think it is important to remember here that we are trying to improve weaknesses....not compare Price and Chit to the rest of the league....they can both play the run very well.....that is a start

Let us not forget that we have 2 of the best cover corners in the league and a very solid group of linebackers playing behind them........

Well said Ted and John. I'm expecting them both to hold their own. I can't wait to see them play.

I still refuse to panic until the season starts!

Ahanatou...his presence will make the others better because the OL will have to focus on somebody.

The thing about these polls, or questions are....they all play different from year to year, and sometimes get moved to different positions. I can never tell what they'll do till a few games into the season. Good luck on all of your predictions though! :D

neither are stars but I think Chidi is a better player. I really never thought much about Price.

If nothing else, it gives us some depth in what's probably our weakest area.
