    Paul Oliver

Bills should use a 3rd rounder on him. Didn't even realize he entered.

Agreed. He'd probably be a top 10 pick in next year's draft. Buffalo would be dumb not to pick him. As far as I know, Oliver had academic issues, not off-field problems. Anyone know for sure?

Academic problems. But his 40-time was also pretty bad. I'm thinking a 3rd rounder could snag him for the Bills now. But it will be a gamble. If he's a hard worker in the weight room, film room, and on the field, I can forgive him academic issues. And his 40-time may be an issue of playing faster than he times.

A bad 40 time is a blessing in disguise. If the kid can play, he can play. We dont need burners.

This has been talked about on here extensively for the past month. I wouldn't have a problem with the Bills using one of their third rounders on him. It is a high risk-reward type situation.

His 40 time was bad yes, but so was his shuttle, and his workouts really didnt look all that good. Id bid a 4th or a 5th. Id take a 3rd and bid it on Gaither though.

                100% agree... a 4th or 5th is appropriate.

                From what I've read, he's a projected 3rd rounder in 2008... NOT TOP 10!

Morgan State defensive tackle Robert Armstrong, whose size and quickness might tempt a few franchises in need of interior line help, will be included in the NFL's supplemental draft scheduled for July 12.

There actually looks like some promising players in the supplemental draft. DT Armstrong from Morgan State might be one to look at, he has good size and some quickness, maybe better than Tim Anderson if Walker is a no show.
Remember Kevin Everett in your thoughts.

                      7.Paul Oliver Cornerback6-0 / 201Georgia

If not for another serious injury (ruptured patellar tendon this spring after missing '06 with a torn ACL) Nebraska's Zack Bowman would probably be the top rated senior corner available this year but that honor now belongs to Paul Oliver. An elite recruit coming out of the prep ranks who had to wait his turn before finally getting a chance to start, Oliver really emerged as a junior in 2006 and there is no telling how high his draft stock could soar if he can build on that momentum this fall. From a size/speed standpoint Oliver has everything you look for and his best football is still ahead of him so remember his name because you will be hearing it a lot the next 12 months.

Scott Wright is a pretty good evaluator.

I would have assumed that this kid had speed. I wonder what happened?

No one should even attempt to defend the idea of not picking him because of his lack of grades!
