All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
"2002:
Reese started 15 games at free safety and posted 58 tackles (48 solo), a half sack (-6), five passes defensed and a forced fumble, while also adding three tackles on special teams. He recorded his only sack of the season at the Jets (12/8) when he and Bertrand Berry Combined to bring down Chad Pennington for a 6-yard loss. Reese missed the Seattle game (11/17) due to a groin injury. He had a season-high two passes defensed at K.C. (10/20). Reese recorded a season-high eight tackles (7 solo) vs. Mia. (10/13), as well as a pass defensed. He stripped the ball from Chargers' running back LaDainian Tomlinson in the 4th quarter in Week 5 vs. S.D. (10/6) to set up a recovery by Al Wilson. Reese had a pass defensed and a then-season high six tackles (5 solo) at Baltimore (9/30)."
TD's signings, for the most part, have filled 2 roles... Posey and Shaw will get Special Teams time, as could Campbell. Reese could be a nice addition that won't be too expensive, and, as we all know, you can't have too many DB's on the roster. His versatility to play any position in the secondary allows him to fill in where needed. Plus, he'd be another Special Teams sddition.
