    Dolphins release oft-injured WR Campbell

    The Miami Dolphins released wide receiver Kelly Campbell three weeks before the start of training camp.

    Campbell hasn't played a regular-season game since 2004 because of leg problems, yet he said earlier this offseason that the quadricep injury sustained during Miami's training camp a year ago that kept him out for all of 2006 was no longer bothersome. The Dolphins re-signed him as a free agent in March.

    Well there was a bad signning by Miami's front office.

          I kinda wonder if the liked him enough to resign him to compete for the 5th wr spot why they picked now to release him? I kinda wonder if he screwed up somehow, you generally don't see teams cutting guys this time of year.

              I think it's way too early to bash any team, including the phins, but why is Miami going to be much improved when realistically they are in the midst of rebuilding? How does the fact that no player on the O-line will be returning to their previous position not impact the play of the offense? Vernon Carey is moving from RT
