the Kings used to have Purple and Yellow jerseys when they first came into the NHL in 1967/68 season. Rumors were that they were going back to this just like the Sabres went back to the B&G

Those are top 5 ugliest sweaters in hockey. They need to bring back the 80s & early 90s silver & black unies. Those were sweet. I've said this a thousand times, why don't teams realize the key to developing unies everyone will love is give them a retro look. Don't jazz it all up w/ 2876 colors, logos, numbers, and dumb ****. Cool logo, primary & secondary colors, and thats it, thats all it takes. It ain't hard. Think about your fav' jersey's in hockey, then take it 1 step further, and think about your fav' unies in sports, I'll bet they are all simple designs that mostly everyone loves. For example:

NY Yanks- everyone loves the pinstripes, simple, plain, and classic

Sabres (old blue & gold)- simple, traditional, great colors, great logo

Red Wings- (hate the team, but unies are great)- great logo, simple design, and very classic

Chargers (powder blue unies)- simple, great color scheme, classic design

what I'm trying to say, is I wish all sports teams would addopt this notion
