DENVER'S CUTLER ALREADY FOCUSED ON BILLS: An interesting Q&A with Jay Cutler on Scout.com. The Denver quarterback was asked a bunch of different questions about the offense heading into 2007. When he was asked about his personal expectations he dodged giving an answer, but seems to believe they'll be scoring a lot.

"I'm going to go out and do my job and hopefully throw touchdowns and help this offense put up a lot of points, but I think that's all going to take care of itself," Cutler told Scout.com.

With Javon Walker, Brandon Marshall (if he's healthy), Rod Smith, Daniel Graham and Travis Henry he's certainly got some weapons.

"We've got guys all over, so it's going to be a struggle to get everyone touches," Cutler told Scout.com. "I think that's probably going to be the biggest thing but with Mike (Shanahan) having such an offensive mind, he's going to be able to create a lot of stuff with the offensive weapons that we have."

Cutler also said all he's focused on is the opener against the Bills.

Would really kinda expect that type of reponse! If he was arrogant enough to say he's "looking past Buffalo, right into game two" he'd create a firestorm of trouble!!

he's not gonna do anything against our D.

he won't have to- they'll just run the ball down our throats all game.

they gotta throw sometime and he won't be able to do squat because someone said players are unlikely to do anything after just one year and that the qb position is the hardest to learn.

why is it that the qb won't be able to do anything because he's had "just one" year but all the guys on our D who have had "just one" year will be just fine? Hmmm....

I don't know. I was being sarcastic . I was going by your logic (when I said "someone said" I meant you) about guys PROBAbLY not doing anything significant after only 1 year of expeience and that the qb position is the hardest to learn. It's your logic , not mine. So if I go by your logic , Cutler isn't gonna do squat.

it all depends on the competition- if JP got to play the opener last year against our D instead of the ****ing Pats it may have been a very different story.

Aside from that, our run D is so bad that all he has to do is not completely suck. Cutler's already shown he's capable of that.

Cutler is going to have a sick year. That kid came on at the end of the year, he will have a better year then both Lienart and VY.
