Adam Caplan, reporting for Scout.com, reports the Buffalo Bills (http://www.kffl.com/team/9/nfl) have signed seventh-round draft choice TE Derek Schouman (http://www.kffl.com/player/16445/nfl) to a four-year deal. Schouman will receiver base salaries of $285,000 in 2007, $370,000 in 2008, $460,000 in 2009 and $550,000 in 2010. Schouman also received a $55,000 signing bonus.

Sweet! He's another one that I think will be playing a lot this season. I see him competing with Brad Cieslak and Ryan Neufeld for the FB/ blocking TE role.

I know it sounds like chicken scratch in terms of NFL contracts go, but crap imagine making that much money in your first job out of college. His first year salary is over 3 times of mine already. Damn.

not stealing any thunder, but the Dolphins just signed their 6th round pick. So out of their 10 picks, 8 are signed just have to sign Beck and Ginn.

offhand no. I recently read that they both had stated that they won't holdout, but how many players have said that before? I really like the pace that the organization has went to get everyone signed.

The Steelers just signed Timmons, and he was selected #15 so hopefully things will get done soon.
