If TD didn't want to sign Adams I doubt he would want Washington. Also didn't he say that doubt he will resign Ahanotu. Listen we will have a person at that 2nd DT spot who may not have a big name right now but he will create a name for himself. Remember we have one heck of a scouting department who have produced 8 starters since 2001 when TD took over. They will find someone I have faith. Go Bills!

I don't see any real impact DT's being available. We may have to pin our hopes on the draft. For anyone who was hoping we would get a safety, WR, or DE in the first round, fuggedaboddit!"The government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."

a DT at #23 will be guaranteed to be better than what is on the roster now. I also wouldn't be surprised if TD trades up a few spots.
Get a DT in the draft and then use the money that would of been used on Adams to get a FS or DE.
This team needs a young DT. If Adams comes in and his play continues to deteriorate, we will be looking at the same problem next year. Might as well do it now.
With that said, I would have liked to see Adams signed (but not for much more than TD put on the table)
If going into the draft, DT is the only real need, this team will be in damn good shape. Hell, if via FA we can upgrade FS, maybe DE, I wouldn't be opposed to taking a DT in the first and second.
