Carolina Hurricanes' centre Eric Staal (http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/player_bio.asp?player_id=3543) and younger brother, the Pittsburgh Penguins' Jordan Staal (http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/player_bio.asp?player_id=5023) were among 14 people arrested in Cook County, Minnesota Monday after the elder Staal's bachelor party got out of hand.

Both brothers were charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process, while Jordan was also charged with consumption of alcohol while under 21 years of age. Eric's agent, Rick Curran, said he expected the misdemeanor charges to be reduced or dismissed.

Hell, this is nothing - I almost got arrested at my bachelor party for excessive noise. Good thing the cops didn't see the illegal dogfighting we had going on in the hotel suite.

Who has not been to a bachelor party that ends up with cops arriving.

I have had to throw people on my car and take off more than once so they would not visit Bubba for the evening.

**** That, Nail Jordan for Underage Drinking, and Nail Eric for Distributing Alcohol to a Minor, any other Person would be in jail 3-5 Years, Athletes Should Not be Exempt of the law.

3-5 years???

lol!

Look it up.

In Virginia Distributing Tabacco To Underage Users is 5-10 Years, 3-5 is nothing

This happened in Minnesota.

What does Virginia law have to do with Minnesota?

Why did they put the 'i' and 'o' next to each other?

And how often is the max sentence handed out? Especially when the "underage" kid is 20. And it is a first offense.

Your a moron, most first offenses of underage drinking get off with a warning. If they locked up every underage drinker for 3-5 in VA, they might as well shut down Virginia Tech. I've been there just one party after another and I never saw anyone check a single ID at any of the bars.

I still don't get it about hockey, this is the biggest scandal they can up with, pitiful. I mean if they want to be as popular as the NFL, the should have rented a boat with hookers, a pitbull fighting arena on board, and bunch of gunslingers doing cruise by shootings during the party.

Just brothers having fun. Me and my older brother are pretty close to their age as well and we go out and do the same damn thing.
