I'm listening to WGR and apparently he isn't wearing any casts or crutches and there are no medical/training staff around him. Probably something very minor- likely not injury related.

I bet Edwards starts opening day and Losman is cut by tomorrow.

What the hell is wrong with the guy?!? He better not be injured! I hate the fact that Chris Brown won't say anymore. :ill:

Or maybe it is something as simple as Jauron wants to see the rookies/backups get more practice time in this morning. JP better be there practicing when I get there this afternoon!

Plus, it's the FIRST DAY- why the hell would they give him the day off?

If it's just a day or two I guess it's no big deal. But if it goes any longer than that, we might be in trouble. The two keys to our offense- JP and Lynch- aren't in camp. That's wonderful.

Their chances of winning are slim to none as it is, :

the the french gave up before the germans even fired a shot. Why bother? They're gonna lose anyways. But they did show up to watch the germans march through their city. That's exactly what you're doing.

Losman
"I want to establish myself as one of the better quarterbacks in this league and eventually one of the best in the history of this game," said Losman. "If I don't say it or believe it it won't happen."

I'm glad Losman doesn't have your "I'm a loser but I'm gonna show up to take my beating" logic. If you can't see how pathetic you are , nothing I can do.

Losman gets paid ridiculous amounts of money, plus he is in a position to actually change the outcome, whereas I am not. The only way your French analogy works is if I was actually on the team and just stood around on the field during plays because there was no point in trying. But again, I'm not on the team.

I'd be pissed if someone on the team had my attitude too. But I'm not on the team. I'm a fan trying to make a prediction, and the most reasonable prediction is more mediocrity. Deal with it.

So what you're saying is that Rob Johnson is actually JP? That would be the only way this info has any revelance... them being two totally different people and all.

Why would they put him on the PUP? That means that they expect he will be out for a little while. Oh God. Just when I was getting all excited about seeing him in camp, throwing the receivers....he goes and strains his back and is now out for a week or so. :ill:

Every single player has minor injuries every single year. How is Losman injury prone? He started every game last season. I realize he missed significant time his rookie year with a broken leg, but did he miss any other time due to injury? I don't remember if he did or not, but I don't believe so.

Sitting out practices for what are essentially bumps and bruises does not make a player injury prone.

Yes, Rob Johnson was injury prone.

Not only every game...

He finished the year 11th in the league with a QB rating of 84.9 as he became only the third Bills quarterback to take every snap in a season.

Its funny to read all of these guesses over something small like this

If the word "back" is used in the report, then it is almost by definition not something automatically small. Let's hope that in this case time reveals that it is small.

I'm willing to bet that he is being held out strictly because it's the first day. If it was the middle of the season I'm sure he'd be in practice. There is just no need to rush him because of how early it is.

So JP's going to wait until the two a days are over and then come back.

Sounds like a bunch of BS to me.

I don't get it, according to Chris Brown Losman came in yesterday claiming he wanted to be the best quarterback in the history of the game and was ready for camp but mentioned nothing about straining his back the day before.

He was injuried his first year, correct.

His second year he was also injuried and missed the last few games because of it.

Yeah Mularkey would never make up excuses for anything... especially with why he wanted out of Buffalo. It was because of his kids right? Oh wait no it was because of too much pressure?

He was a joke of a coach even if they almost made the playoffs in 2004. Losman would be even that much better if Mularkey had just left him in all season.

I remember at that time Jp was saying he was ready to go. But Mularkey decided not to put him in.

Don't have the link and won't bother to look it up for you .

He isn't injury prone but since you're a hater i can't blame you for desperately trying to reach for things to make him look like he's injury prone.

I don't blame you for not believeing me and if you don't mind, I won't believe you hat he isn't injury prone.

I do however believe you wish he will get injured so you can say I told you so. I mean, you're a hater.

I don't need JP to get injuried again to prove he's injury prone. If getting injuried 3 times in 4 years is not injury prone enough for you, nothing is.

I didn't like Mularkey either but the one thing he did do right was bench JP the first time.

Benching him the 2nd time was because of injury. So they say. If he wasn't injuried then he shouldn't have been benched the 2nd time.

He has not been injured 3 times. Missing a day of practice is not injured. If it was, every player in the elague would be injury prone.

If Losman gets 'excited' as he himself said, and injures himself just lifting weights, how is he going to have the cool collected head on the field and good judgment required to get this team to the championship game?

I guess we have different views of what an "injury" really is in sports. I thought Losman was suited up and ready to play when he missed those games in year 2. I question the QB revolving door, but that's only speculation on my part. Straining his back just before the first practice does not constitute injury in my book. nic, ding, bump, bruise, sore, swelling - yes. Injury - no. A lot of players miss practice for these reasons. Injury prone is something I have not seen out of Losman. If he starts losing actual P.T., that is another story. If anything, this kid is tough. He's taken some mammoth shots on the field (some his own fault) and gets up everytime. I don't know if he'll ever be a top-tier QB, but he is a tough kid.
