    Bucs Cut Rice

The Buccaneers have reportedly cut DE Simeon Rice.
It's not exactly a shocker, as Rice was due to count over $10 million against the salary cap in 2007, far too much for a player his age (33) coming off a potentially career-threatening shoulder injury. Gaines Adams should instantly move into the starting lineup at right end. Rice, who is second among active sackers with 121, should find work if he's up for passing a physical.

He's not the same player he used to be, but with the right team, he will be a good addition.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Jets make a phone call on this one.

Be a smart move for them or us, but I doubt we go after him after resigning Kelsay, sigh

At this point in his career Kelsay > Rice

Im not going to argue with you about Kelsay as my opinion was articulated when we resigned Kelsay. But suffice it to say I disagree.

Well let me re-word my previous statement. At this point it's everyone > Rice if the guy can't even pass a physical, add to that the fact that he is now 33 and there you have it.

How do you know that Rice couldn't pass a physical? But I do agree with you on one thing:
                Kelsay > Rice.
