    Bucs cut Simeon Rice

I know he's older, but he would still be an upgrade over both Kelsay and Denney. I'm sure a lot of teams will be interested, it just remains to see who has the money to get him. What a tandem that would be though...Schobel and Rice.....sigh

This must be a joke, right?

Tampa Bay released Simeon Rice yesterday, normally it only requires speculation that somebody is going to be released before several people here are clamoring for the Bills to go after them. This guy actually got released and nobody has said anything! What Gives???

Defensive end Simeon Rice, one of the NFL's most dominant pass rushers over the past decade, will no longer be playing in Tampa Bay.

Article says that it was his arm that was hurt, so it's not going to impact his speed ngetting to the QB, which is still his best attribute.

The Bills want younger players not aging players losing a step.

I doubt any 30 year vets on the FA market will even get looked at by the Bills.

and I agree he ain't no upgrade at this point in his career.

                  He's old and injured.

We can't always assume that a once-productive "name" player, now past his peak, is automatically going to be better than the guys we have.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Rice also runs his mouth entirely too much.

Simeon Rice is a dick head. I don't want him on our team.
