    Keyshawn restructures

Keyshawn Johnson is the latest Tampa Bay player to do his part to help his team possibly repeat next season.

    Johnson

Johnson agreed in principle to restructure his eight-year, $56 million deal Tuesday, providing Tampa Bay around $2.5 million in salary cap relief, The St. Petersburg Times reported in Tuesday's editions. The Pro Bowl receiver will receive a signing bonus for more than half his $5 million salary and bonuses for 2003, according to the newspaper.

The deal is expected to be finished by Thursday.

"They came to me and asked if I would restructure my contract, and I said, 'No problem,' " Johnson said to the newspaper. "I'm happy in Tampa and I'm helping my team get salary cap room to win another championship."
