14:37 PT: Vikings.com, as an update to a previous story, reports the Minnesota Vikings have offcially agreed to the terms of an undisclosed contract with QB Gus Frerotte. "We're excited to have Gus Frerotte coming in to serve as our backup quarterback," said Head Coach Mike Tice. "He's been a starter in the League and he's a proven, veteran player who gives us what we are looking for in that position."

14:40 PT: Updating an earlier stories, Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the deal the Minnesota Vikings and free agent QB Gus Frerotte (Bengals) agreed upon is expected to be a two-year contract, worth between $1.8 and $1.9 million. A signing bonus of $100,000 was also included.
