Mine was in December 1992 vs the Broncos. My dad and I and some other people we knew did one of those bus tours from Rochester. The Bills won the game 27-17, and I saw two HOF QB's. We had ****ty seats in the corner of the upper deck and there was no video screen at the time, but kids at their first game don't think about that stuff.

Surprisingly, I remember a lot more about the crowd and the atmosphere than the game itself. It had just snowed and people were throwing snowballs everywhere. One drunk got hit, and tried to fight everyone whom he thought threw a snowball (which, of course, enticed a barrage of snowballs every time he turned around). The guy ended up being thrown out.

Later on, there was a fight in one endzone. The guy behind me was watching the fight, and saw the Bills kick a field goal in the other endzone at the same time. His swift turning motion caused him to dump his beer all over me. I was about 13 years old, it was 20 degrees outside and I was now covered in beer. I didn't mind at the time though- I was just happy to be there.

I dont remember the specific game, but it had to have been at least 15 years ago. The only thing i remember was that I ate a hotdog inside the stadium and ended up getting sick and threw up on some guy in front of me. Mind you, I was like 8 or 9...but yeah. I think thats a fitting first time Bills experience.

It was a home game against the Houston Oilers in the 70s. I remember that Bobby Chandler made one of his pattened tip toe catches near the back of the end zone but was called out. I know we lost and I sat with my dad in his 50 yard line seats. He and his buddies had 50 yard line seats from the old Rockpile days. He gave them up a few years later because he just couldn't afford to keep going. I think Gary Marangi got in the game.

11/20/94, My grandfather got tickets through work or something and gave them to my dad and I. I remember it was an incredibly nice day out for late November and I was in awe by the size and noise of the stadium.

Great game to see too...

Bills went up 27-0 in the first half, and the offense was blazing. They did let the Packers creep back in, but won 29-20. Andre Reed set a team record with 15 receptions that day.

Here's a link to a story about that game:

I don't even recall my 1st Bills game. I was maybe 7 or so years old. Mid 1970's.

I do recall being at the game when OJ ran past the 2000yds for the season. I don't believe that was my 1st game. I think it was the 2nd time he ran for 2000 in a season. Don't remember who we played but I remember the announcement over the PA, and the hoopla going down at the time.

1988 vs the Pack on Halloween. The Bills won 28-0, it was really cold and windy for that time of year. I remember Kelly only had something like 80 yards or so in passing. I do remember Leon Seals recovering a fumble for a touchdown.

It was week 14 1979, December something  against the Denver Broncos led by Craig Morton.

It was a miserable day, It took us a long time to get to the stadium in a jeep. Tractor Trailers were jack knifed all over the thruway.

We lost on a last minute field goal 19-16 to Denver.

I was hooked on Bills football after that. We had a great time.

I was also at that game, it was unbelievable! To this day I have never been in a stadium that was as loud as Jack Murphy (Qualcomm) was after Flutie ducked under Pat Williams in the backfield and streaked up the middle for a TD to beat the Bills at the gun. So disapponting, I had my cousin and some of his friends in from Buffalo. We were all stunned.

My first game was against the Chiefs in the 70's at Rich. OJ was cuttin and slashin through that defense.

Mid 1990's, very cold November home game vs. the Jets. Drove from NC to Buffalo with single game ticket, only to have to sit in the nose bleeds with drunk Jets fans, freeze my ass off, and then drive home with a loss hang over.

In any case, it was my first game and had a blast. Met the pinto guy, did my obligatory bowling ball shot, etc. etc. Would not trade the memory for anything.

Since that year, my uncle (who I drove up with) invested in season tix and we've gotten better seats every season. I go up for at least one game per year, and will be up for the Denver game (getting so jacked about that). Have not been to home opener since Tenn. game a few years back, so packing for warmer weather will be a treat.

What a classic game that was.... opening day 1989! I remember that play as clear as day. This is Van Miller's call of it:

"Just inside the three and here comes Kelly. What a finish. Kelly waiting…last play of the game. Back to throw…He's gonna run…and he dives for the touchdown! He dove for the touchdown! Jim Kelly is being mobbed. The game is over. The Bills have won it. In one of the most dramatic finishes in Buffalo Bills football history. Jim Kelly ran for the touchdown! And the Bills to a man are swarming and mobbing him at the goal line. The Bills have won it on the final play of the game."

First Bills game I attended was in 1985.

Browns-Bills at old Municipal Stadium in Cleveland....

Cleveland won 17-7 that day while the Bills had Vince Ferragamo at the helm.

First game I attended at the Ralph was week 3, 1998 Bills-Rams.

That was the game where Tony Banks drove the Rams down field late to win it, and Rob Johnson actually had a good game.

Sometime between 82-84. My grandparents and uncle would bring me. I was between 6 and 8, so I don't remember. It's possible it was even 80-81.

I have been to all but 3 home games since 1989. And I was at most games between 86-88.

Missed Jets in something like 91 for a hunting vacation
Missed Packers in something like 94 for hunting vacation
Missed the Steelers in 99 for a Disney vacation. This one killed me the most because it's the only game that I have not watched live since 1987 (excluding preseason). I spent the day in the park listening to ESPN radio on a head set.

Mine was [date to be determined in 2008], 49ers @ Buffalo. It was great because I met [# to be determined] zoners for the first time. My neighbor was a 49er fan so I saw an opportunity to make a road trip and see my first game. I'm an NFL virgin and going to Buffalo was the only way I'd pop my cherry. I don't remember the exact year. It was between 1979 and 1983, a Monday night game versus the New York Jets. It was butt ugly. The Bills didn't deserve to be on the same field with the Jets. My first game attended was the greatest comeback in NFL history vs the Houston oilers! Nice first game to go to!

Butler set the team record for receiving yards that day, (255) which was just recently broken by Moulds I think.

And the Historian was fired!!!

Lee Evans broke it last year against Houston, he had 2 - 83 yard TD catches in that game. How can you forget the most recent of things and remember all the old stuff!

Billsology it is probably at my dads house in the Attic, but I'm sure we have one somewhere! That was so long ago, I remember the coin because you mentioned it, but I don't remember much about it!

October 22, 1978:

Bills 5
Bengals 0

I wasn't at that game, but I remember it. Lou Piccone scored a safety I think.

 Thanks Historian!!!!
