The best Thurman Thomas memories I have are during those Miami at Bills games.

He was unstoppable. Thurman squished the fish. :snicker:

Thurman Thomas is largely responsible for why I'm a Bills fan today. I pretty much grew up idolizing him and ESPECIALLY Bruce Smith! I used to play defensive end and I always wore 78 as my jersey number! Thanks Thurm! And hopefully we'll have another thread for Bruce and Tasker soon!

Listen to the Repmeister. He knows what he's talking about.

I give a real rep and then follow it up with a "Thanks". It works that way, but once you've thanked a post you can't rep it.

Hey, watched the Thurman Thomas induction, very cool, they said he got the loudest applause all night. Can't believe he asked his wife to marry him again on the ceremony, but it was a magic touch. Glad to see a guy that deserved to get in the HOF made it so soon, he was a pest to us Phins for years! Anyways, congrats to you Bills fans, I'm glad you had another deserving guy go in, I hope Bruce Smith is the next one. Enjoy, and you have my utmost :respect: :peace: Jaydog

I just loved the family feel there within the members of the SB team. Reed, Smith, Kelly, Marv, even had Ralph in the stands. That's a lot of team presence man...it was like a little reunion. And it was some loud applause for the Bills too. I took that as a big F you to ESPN. Sure we might have not fielded a good team lately, but that doesn't make Bills fans any less important. Forget Irvin, he got all his credit because he was in such a big market. Bills do it with blood sweat and tears, Cowboys do it with glitz and glamour it seems.

The HOF inductions we're replayed on NFL network today and I loved it. Thurman looked great and I am so happy for him. The story about spiking the ball was classic and it shows how Marv's character help build a championship caliber team, love to hear it.
