Starting safety Donte Whitner (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=7757) missed his second day of practice because of what Jauron termed a "lower stomach" problem. The coach said it's possible the injury could keep Whitner from playing in the exhibition opener at New Orleans on Friday.

aarggh- it would be good to see him getting some practice, especially against an experienced QB like Brees.

Good, as long as it isnt serious.

I'd like to see what Wilson and Wendling do with more playing time. Leonhard we pretty much know what he's going to do.
