drop back..

Am I imagining this or does it seem that JP does not drop back very far when passing? I watched Brees and it seemed like he was considerably farther back from the LOS before passing. JP seems to be in the thick of it during the whole play....

My imagination? or is our line getting pushed back so fast that it is not jp being to far forward, but the line being pushed back?
