This term "vanilla" used to describe the play as basic or blan, needs to go. I don't know how many times I have seen that word used in the past 12 hours. It needs to go back to the tardhatch where it came from.

Apparently. I'm going to go to the Dolphin game tonight, and there's no excuses from me. They look like ****, they look like ****. None of those "Well, it's our first preseason game" or "Well, we're in vanilla and Jacksonville is blitzing" or "Well, Mormino is still a rookie, so..." You look like ****, you look like ****. If I see Andre Goodman get beat, I'm not going to say "It's the first preseason game, so like Bell and Goodman don't have chemistry and uhh..." You got beat Goodman.

you're learning grasshopper. Some players will suck, some will shine. Some things that happen in preseason could be signs of what's to come and some things won't. Thing is , nobody knows which ones will be and which won't til gameday comes.

It is however fun to speculate .
