I say a year and a half in jail, $50,000 fine, and a year suspended from the NFL on top of it, which makes 2.5 years out of football.

That's probably fair for plea bargaining for 2 federal RICO charges.

Finally, he'll come back into the league in 2.5 years and the Raiders will sign him.

Maybe he'll go play on the same team as Steve Christie...

He runs to Canada and is the CFL MVP for the next five years.

I think he has $200,000 in fines / fees, 30 days in jail, 5 years probation, and a lifetime ban from the NFL.

I agree he goes to Canada and makes their HoF...if they have one.

The prison part is so hard to speculate right now... I'm more curious to see what the NFl is going to hit him with.

6 months and won't play for the NFL again.

They said he was working on a plea that would give him less than a year in prison and his lawyers are urging him to take it.

I think it is going to be 8 months in prison and then he will be banned from the NFL.

I doubt he will be banned from the NFL, maybe a year or two at the most.

The feds want at least a year in jail for him, Vick's attorneys are trying to get it under a year if they plea. At least that's what CNN said last night...

I saw an article that said his lawyers were divided over whether to take the plea deal or take his chances in court. IMO, this suggests more than a year of jail time plus other penalties because if Vick doesn't agree to the plea deal by Friday, it's off -- and the Feds will bring additional charges against him with his three former co-defendents ready to dump on him in court.

Vick is in a bad spot because if he "elocutes" (admits his guilt) as plea bargains require, then the NFL can bust his chops on the personal conduct issue.

If Vick takes the plea, then it's 1.5 in the pokey and possibly a lifetime suspension from the NFL. If Vick rejects the plea, everything is up in the air.

I cant see him beating this rap in court;

His lawyers plea offer;
No Felonies, bang those down to misdemeanors, does 6 months, and pays fines

DA's plea offer:
18 months, pleads to 1 felony, pays fines

NFL plea offer:
Guilty by plea-2 yr ban
Guilty by jury of your peers-lifetime ban

6 Months in Jail
Out in 2 for good behavior

$300,000 fine

1 Year suspension from the NFL.

And Atlanta asking the NFL to cancel the trade they made sending Shaub to Houston.

By the time Vick is back in the league, Trent Edwards is going to be a quality player for the Bills. :rofl:

Just kiddin'. C'mon, it was funny.

And Miami will still be looking for a QB.

If Vick admits to any felonies in the plea deal, I think it will be hard for him to ever play in the NFL again. I doubt Goodell will let it happen. I don't think he wants to have convicted felons on the football field where young kids look up to him. Roger is trying to clean up the NFL, Vick will have to go to Canada.

I have a feeling that the judge will throw the plea deal aside, laugh and then sentence Vick to the maximum of 5 years in prison. 4 on good behavior.

6 months and won't play for the NFL again.

He's getting a year. You can count on that. Plus he'll be banned for life because he lied to the commissioner.

He's done.

Mike Vick will be in jail for three years when all is said and done.
