Safeties:
1. Jonathan Heffney Tennessee-5’9, 185lbs
Heffney is the top safety in this class regardless of his size. He led Tennessee last year with 96 tackles and finished 2nd in the SEC with 5 picks. He is not afraid whatsoever to stick his nose into the running game. He also is a good punt returner averaging 12.1 yard per return.
Key Games: Sept. 15 @ Florida, and Oct. 6 v. UGA

2. Marcus Griffin-Texas-6’0, 202lbs
Brother of 1st Round pick Micheal Griffin, but not necessarily of the same caliber. Griffin poses good speed and good size for the safety position but has never become the ball hawk Micheal was, makes solid tackles in the open field but not much more.
Key Games: Oct. 6 v. Oklahoma, Oct. 27 v. Nebraska

3. Jamar Adams-Michigan-6’2, 212
The biggest safety in the class Adams uses his size to his advantage when playing centerfield for the Wolverines. He is not a huge playmaker but he is extremely consistent. He rarely gives up the big play and he will consistently play a role in the run game. Nothing special here but nothing horrible either.
Key Games: Nov. 10 @ Wisconsin, Nov. 17 v. Ohio State

4. Tom Zbikowski-Notre Dame-6’0, 210lbs
With his boxing career behind him Zibs hopes to return to the form he had two years ago when he was not only a demon in the backfield but also as a returner. In reality Zibs lacks coverage skills and while he is a big hitter his tackling technique needs work. However his return skills make him a very attractive option.
Key Games: Sept. 15 @ Michigan, Oct. 20 v. USC

5. Darien Williams-Oklahoma-6’0, 197lbs
Coming off a serious injury that required offseason surgery Williams has a lot to prove but a ton of skill. He also had to have surgery on his foot for a stress facture and may not be ready for the season opener. He’s gotta stay healthy this year and gotta show the skill that he displayed in high school.
Key Games: Sept.8 v. Miami, and Oct.6 v. Texas

6. Chris Hoton-UCLA
7. Quintin Demps-UTEP
8. Josh Barrett-Arizona State
9. Jamal Lews-Georgia Tech
10. Anthony Scirrotto-Penn State

Not a need at all, but I gotta preview them all and maybe if they think one can become a CB we may take a look.
