I really am not to concerned about interceptions in training camp but it seems to me J.P. should play the first half unless the does really well in the 1st quarter!
The offensive line is making adjustments and the extra time could help the entire Offense.
Yes, I know about the possibility of injury but I think it is worth the gamble!

As long as he is with the first string O-Line. We don't need camp fodder blocking for him, that could get ugly.

2nd preseason game usually = about a half for starters, and I'm fine with that.

with the way the D plays, the offense will need at least a half to get any significant playing time.

This seems to be a non-issue.

How long did he play the last game?

I think it is an issue!

I think it is a big issue.

Most starting QB's get a quarter and some get a series.

I think Losman has had a average training camp and has had some problems that need to be corrected.

Some people will tell you its too big a risk to your starter.....hang around somebody will say that!

If Losman WAS to get injured this entire board would want to hang Dick Jauron on Saturday....you can count on it!

Yes. Second year players could use all the work they can get.

You could probably get Kelly Holcomb real cheap! (lol)

I wouldn't go by the qtr. but by the series. Our back-ups (especially QBs) need the practice more than our starters.

I'd bench Lee and Reed and let JP establish more chemistry with Price ,Parrish and Aiken.

I'd like to see JP in there with Everrett too.

Lynch and Wright should get the bulk of the carries.

I guess I go with how well he looks.

If he does well and moves the team, yank him!

If he doesn't play him the half and let Edwards and Nall have a quarter!

Camp is for making mistakes. No need to force Losman into a situation that can get him hurt. Pre season is better suited for cohesion and determining the skill set of young talent.

You're contradicting yourself...

#4 I count 14 NFL players around the NFL that are OUT FOR THE SEASON as this has been one of the worst preseasons in recent memory for injuries!

Hey, its always a gamble but I am a gambler!

It has been a bad year for injuries!

Some fans above think it is a no brainer....play him the entire half and that is why I asked the question!

The starters should play most of the first half or all of it if it seems necessary. Second team should get more work this week. At least three series instead of just one as in N.O., or they should finish the first half and thrid quarter if the first unit doesn't finish the first half. Third team can take whatever if any is left over this game.

I think he should play until the offense moves the football up the field, and back down it. If that only takes 2 series, great. But if they are getting no where after the first 3-4 series, get em out of there and go back to practice before anyone get's hurt.

1 half in the last preseason game. He doesn't have to risk himself by running and sliding head first for a preseason game especially if your back up is Nall.

with it being the 2nd game of the Preseason,i think the whole 1st Quarter and that's it.

I think it depends if he looks bad and the offense isnt moving, then Id say a quarter, if he is moving the ball and clicking, then I say we let them go a full half and get some chemistry re-developed.

I hope Dick Jauron leaves him in for atleast a half unless he lights it up in the 1st!
