Worse than the loss was the news that defensive end Ryan Denney suffered a broken foot and Jauron said it looks as if he will be out for a significant period of time, perhaps the entire season.

Sweet! McCargo has given the D line the foot virus. Actually, maybe if we stop being so negative about stuff on this board then we will stop attracting these negative occurences. Just a thought!

yeah blame it on the posters who see this team has glaring holes that aren't going to win games in the NFl.

damn combine this with no Hargrove for 4 games and we seriously lacking depth on the DL and at DE impaticular

The reality of it is that we've been pretty fortunate over the last half-decade w/ injuries and the like.

In fact, at least prior to last year, we had the fewest man-game injuries to starters over the prior three seasons combined and finished first there in at least one of those seasons.

Ok...so recap of our DE's:

Schobel...Kelsay...Ah You

Hargroves out for 4 games...Denney is done.

So really...we have one viable starter in Schobel...an average Kelsay, and a 7th round project at best in Ah You.

Yes, Virginia, there is such a thing as worse run D than last year.

Marv says we're going to make up for the pathetic lack of talent on our defensive front with a proper rotation...which I could actually see working at times if there was actually a rotation to speak of.
