ASHBURN, Va. (March 20, 2003) -- Rocket Ismail moved closer to becoming free-agent signing No. 12, Bruce Smith talked about retiring, and Laveranues Coles discussed his contract.

"We appreciate everybody coming out today to our weekly press conference," coach Steve Spurrier said. "We seem to have one or two each week."
Smith was the surprise guest. The 39-year-old defensive end indicated in January he was leaning toward quitting, even though he is 3½ sacks from the NFL's career record.
