All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I like how he had a carry for about 15 yards last week and ESPN acts like he's the next Barry Sanders. Will McGahee have some good games for the Ravens? Of course; he had some good games for us too, but on average he's just that: average. He'll probably wind up with about 1100 yards, which isn't that impressive, considering that's an average of less than 70 yards a game. I don't want him to blow his knee out like some people do, but I would like to see him be himself and make Baltimore realize why we traded his sorry ass.
that was always my biggest complaint about him. he never made anyone miss and he almost always went down after first contact and rarely made any yards after contact.
I watched the game for about 20 mins. That was enough time to see him do something very familiar --- completely miss a block in dramatic fall down fashion which led to McNair being sacked hard. But I'm sure he can blame it on the lack of offensive talent around him.
p.s. Was anyone surprised that old J. Bannan was playing on the d-line for Baltimore early on? Even if someone was injured, I thought they were deep enough on defense to avoid the likes of him playing at all. Has he improved or something?
I had to laugh when Madden said that McGahee would bring a real threat on screen plays out of the back field that Jamal Lewis never did. That pretty ferocious 0 TD receptions for his career stat must be telling them something that we all missed.
The thing about Willis is he is still dancing before he hits the hole. When you are a back you have to hit it not dance. I saw that from him again last nite. Honestly I dont think Baltimore is that good on Offense.

Bannan graded very well last year and was considered by most outside critics to be a good pickup. May not get the stats but in that scheme he does what is needed. Too bad we do not have a swing lineman to fiill holes in DT and DE anymore.
Willis McGayHee, 6 carries for 2 yards.

you know, if you're gonna rip the guy, at least get the stats right. According to ESPN this morning, he had 6 carries for 3 yards. You under-reported his total by 50%.
I heard on Mike and Mike that there are rumblings that he's not thrilled about being in Baltimore. I guess he likes warm weather. What a wimp!!!
I live about a 45 minute drive from Baltimore and it's been in the 90's with high humidity for most of the last 3 weeks. How much friggin warmer does he want it?
