I like the guy. As a season ticket holder of the Panthers I have seen him play many times. He did very well for the Panthers the past few years. I was thinking about him the other day thinking he would be a good signing. He was the guy coming in off the bench if Mike Rucker or Julius Peppers needed a breather and started if one of them got hurt.

Solid depth. I like it.

His numbers suggest good production for a backup to Peppers and Rucker. I imagine that this is a one-year band-aid for Denney and either Ah You or Powell will slide over to the practice squad once Hargrove returns. At least, I'm hoping Hargrove returns, anyway. He looks ready for a solid season especially since he will see more time minus Denney.

He'll be better than the long list of no named 7th rounders we currently have now.
Excellent Pickup.. I have seen the guy play many times and I love his toughnessb and vet leadership... Heck If Jim Jeffcoat can come in and give us a little back in the day why not this guy..I' m sure Modrak knowledge of him from the their philly days helped.

If he's still in shape, or even close to it, this is an excellent pickup, much less for this late in the game. It's certainly better than signing Marcellus Wiley.

This team NEEDS a few "old" players in their rotation.
Good, I hope they sign him.

BTW, Wallace is better against the run than Kelsay.
I love watching Carolina (and New Orleans) play when the Bills arent on..

Sounds like a good one-year pick up to me. With all of the D-line injuries around the league and the league delaying the cutdowns until after the last preseason game, it's going to be hard to get a decent D-line addition and have him ready to play by the first game of the season. I hope they get him signed ASAP.
