Bills game on TV on Friday?

I want to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

On the 11 o'clock sports on CH. 7, Jeff Russo said that the Bills game would be seen LIVE on Friday at 7 PM. I was expecting him to say on tape delay, but he didn't. He said LIVE on Friday.

I posted this on another site, and I'm hoping someone might confirm if they saw it. I know it's Kid's Day at the stadium and many tickets are given away, but I didn't expect it would be a sellout. It wasn't last year, I don't think.

Did anyone else see this? Could it be true?

That's the best thing about kids day, it always sells out now. And if it doesn't, some sponsor will buy the remaining tickets and give them to kids groups. :up:

If the Bills were smart, they should have made the Atlanta game kids day. Based on the fact that the starters play more during the third preseason game, I have a feeling the average fan would be more willing to buy tickets.

Buffalo Bills fans without a ticket to Friday's pre-season game against Tennesee will be able to watch the matchup from the comfort of their own living rooms.

The team announced Wednesday morning that the Bills-Titans game is sold out, so it will be on local TV.

This is the fourth consecutive Kids Day game to sellout. Friday, the first 10,000 fans 14 years old and under will get an official Buffalo Bills pedometer/FM radio as they enter the stadium.

There will also be a Kids Day carnival in Lot C of Ralph Wilson Stadium from 4-7 P.M. It's free and features face-painting, games and ice cream.

The Buffalo Junior Jills will perform at halftime.
Hot dogs and soda will be sold for $1 each courtesy of Delaware North and Sahlen's.

After the game, fans will be treated to a fireworks display.

I have to figure out whether I can see it or not. Last year our local CBS feed would show the pre-season games live. Last week they showed it on tape delay on Saturday, just like it was in Buffalo which makes me think they would show it this week. Well, we'll see because CBS has the national tv game this week so I dunno if the local feed will put the Bills on instead.

I went on the message board for the website Tatonka made a thread about and the reason why last weeks game wasn't on was because the guy in buffalo who streams the SOPcast couldn't because it was blacked out.

I DVR'd it on NFLN Sat morning, got half way through it on Sun morning, and my digital service froze & erased it. :cynic: I saw the score on the main site, and still would've watched the entire game. It's football. It's the Bills.
