i think Mario Haggan, and jim leonard, shaud williams will be the surprise cuts from the roster this year, i got a feeling Wilson makes it as the second saftey, cause he can do what leonard does on ST, and Leonard is a liability in the secondary just as much as Wilson is, Haggan will get beat out by Roy Manning, he has had a quite but good preseason, i think Donovan Morgan or fast Freddie make it as the 6th WR if we keep that many, Bassey might be headed back to the PS along with jermane cornelius

Aug. 28 -- Roster cutdown to maximum of 75 players.

Sept. 1 -- Roster cutdown to maximum of 53 players.

Those dates seem very close to me. I didn't realize they were so close together.
