NFLN is talking Bills and Eisen commented that many feel Lynch reminds them of Marshall Faulk, a comment Ive made in the past.

These guys are right!

Truth be known the blew the rest of the preview. They think we stink, they are stupid.

Marshall Faulk says 3 and 13??????

Shefter says 5 wins??????

The media is flat out moronic.

There is NO WAY IN HELL we go 3-13. We might have a losing record but i gurantee we wont be that bad. That is dolphin and raider territory.

Until the Bills show something on the field most of the media will continue to use their whipping stick on the Bills.

I've commonly heard the reference "Poor-man's Marshall Faulk." Kind of comical when you consider it's the cash-stingy Bills that drafted him.

So the media is moronic with everything else they said, but credible when they say something good about Lynch?

3-13 to 9-7 is realistic

The media is a genius if they say something good about the Bills but if the same people say something bad they are stupid. Great logic.

It can be hard for a team not to win 3 games in the NFL these days: a team that utterly collapses can still win 2-3 games and I don't see this Bills team utterly collapsing like, say, the Raiders did last season.

When the Bills did collapse in 2005, they still managed to win 5 games. With the offensive line that they had last season, W.McGahee tip-toeing through holes, and virtually the same defensive line that they have this season (with Wallace replacing Denney), I thought that it would be possible for them to at least match those 5 wins and the team won 7.

No, they didn't fix the interior of their defensive line. And, yes, they did lose their best CB in N.Clements and the experience of L.Fletcher-Baker. But, with Losman having taken a step forward and more talent on the offensive line, a couple of new RBs who will run harder than McGahee, even when they don't recognize where the hole is, and a year of experience under the belts of some of their young defensive players, it's hard to see this Bills team falling back to the level of the 2005 team if they can stay reasonably healthy.

With their inexperience and the holes that they have not been able to fill, they may not be able to take a step forward this season and might even take a small step backwards, but, barring serious injuries at certain key positions, it is hard to see this team not being able to squeeze out at least 6 wins.

Let the mainstream media say what they want. Most of them don't follow the teams that closely unless they are already established winners or have a big-name prospect on their roster, which is not the case with the Bills. If the Bills start winning games that they "aren't supposed to" and making highlight reel plays, they may start to pay them some attention. But, let's just let the season play out and see what happens and where the teams are at the end of the season. Because, in reality--and as far as the players are concerned--it really doesn't matter what we say or what NFLN or any of the other experts say or what anyone says now--what matters is what happens on the field between now and the end of January of the coming year.
