Was a decent player for the Falcons when he was there. We could use him.

He is a Cover 2 DT, but he has had issues with motivation. Guy was a beast at LSU at times.

i know db will remember.. lavalais is one of the guys that i have always loved since he was at lsu..

he has never performed at the level i thought he would in the pros.. but i would take him in a heartbeat.

this was his first season with the panthers right?

he is a penetrating DT definately... he is not the fat runstuffer type.

I remember very clearly the campaign you were on for us to select him, and when Atlanta let him go both of us were saying we needed to pick him up. Id definitely like to bring him in here.

Someone with nothing to do needs to go down to One Bills Drive and yell up at Marv's office to get this guy signed to the team immediately. No, he's not a superstar...but a solid player.

He reportedly was released because his offseason conditioning was poor and he never caught up. That is the same reason Atlanta let him go.

Yes his weight has been issue all along, but we have one of the best conditioning programs in the NFL, imo. So if he can get his weight down he's worth the shot.

If he repeatedly cannot stay in shape, then I say we continue looking!

Bring in anyone at this point, Kyle Williams is too small, Triplett sucks, and Time Anderson well enough said, McCargo is the only one i have seen do anything up the middle and i use that lightly

Don't we already have a fat, lazy, unmotivated DT?

I don't think we need a second one.

lavalais has alot more skill than anderson.. so all things being equal and both are fat and out of shape.. i will take the talented fat one.. lavalais.

A fat and lazy defensive tackle in the NFL? Pshaw!

Lavalais could out play Timmy sitting on the couch munching on a bag of doughnuts.

It wouldn't hurt to take a look.
