No Defense For Bills Situation

As I write this post, I've seen 21 different teams during this preseason. That means when you add together each team's offense, defense, and special teams, I've seen a total of 63-different units. I will say that without a doubt, the worst of any of those 63-units was EASILY the Buffalo Bills defense.

They can't tackle, they can't cover, they can't put pressure on the quarterback.

I guess the good news is that the Bills know it.
Haven't seen anything that proves him wrong this preseason

Welcome to my world!! The Jet's have the same issues, but you really cant gauge anything until the 1st game is done and over with. You guys always seem to have a strong defense.

We as fans always say that it's just pre-season and it doesnt matter, maybe the players think the same way. The way i see it, they are really over analyzing each play, maybe taking longer than they normally would during the regular season.

The stars will align, your defense will be ok.

theyre gonna give up a ton of yards esp early in the season but their team speed is going to a) create tos and b) make it tougher to score when the field gets shorter ie redzone

and i dont agree they cant pressure the qb. there was good pressure on young they just couldnt tackle him. yeah i think hes overrated as a qb but hes definitely good at not going down and the bills were horrid tackling that night. once they address the tackling issue and dont have to play young they will create sacks and tos

its gonna be frustrating at times watching them retreating down the field but when they do create tos they can be game changing with their speed getting returns going the other way and into the ez at times. we just have to hope the offense scores often enough and can string a few first downs together when they dont. sp teams will have to keep winning field position battles because the tos wont always come

right now the last five games of the season look very winnable. if they can hover around .500 until then theyd have a real shot of maturing right in time to string some wins into the playoffs

I really think the Bills made their own bed so why should I be concerned?
They had a chance to sign Darwin Walker , and there are still other players out there and we have cap space!

We will see, it is early yet!

Hopefully these problems become rectified when the games count. Because if we see this same pathetic effort week in and week out it's going to be a VERY long season.

The Bills do look terrible on D. I expect them to be better when the real games start. I just hope we don't start real slow like last year because we need to come out swinging with the brutal games all front loaded.

I am starting to question our training camp because we are way too sloppy for an NFL team at this point. I would rather lose a few players in pre-season then be completely healthy and take 4 games to hit our stride.
