I think that they will keep Tim Anderson instead of DE Eric Powell, just to P*** us off (why else tender him as a RFA?). Otherwise I agree. I see your point about keeping Powell though, until Hargrove returns from his suspension, after that, he is gone though. Also, I wonder if we're gonna keep Jim Leonard as a backup safety, or go with George Wilson. They've both had moments and need to show something special to stick on the roster. I would love to see us make one final move to grab a late cut from another team who would be a bona fide upgrade (a.k.a. Pete Kendall to the Skins), but then again... I also wish I had a million bucks, ya know?

I only have a few modifications:

I have not heard much about Cieslak at all this camp. I think he loses out to Everett.

It makes more sense to me to keep Tim Anderson instead of Ah You considering McCargo's injury history. I think Ah You is too soft for special teams too.

Replace Merz with Chambers of course.

The last spot for me comes down to Scobey vs. Stamer as special teams ace. Even though he has not seen much pre-season action, I give the nod to Scobey since he can return kickoffs effectively and McGee has now had a concussion. The only other option that we have there appears to be Fred Jackson (they tried him there last pre-season game) but it is such a crucial position to special teams that I think they go with the proven commodity in Scobey (who is also a very good gunner).

Only because of the DE position...I am guessing that they will keep Denney on the roster instead of placing him on IR so unless they pick up somebody on waivers they will need another body at DE.
