I would suggest losing the 2nd kicker and 2nd D and pick up the best WR & RB left out there

I wanted to make sure I had something to play in every position's bye weeks.

Good post, Lt...I'd even consider dropping Garcia, also.

I've got 4 WRs.

The thing is that there wasn't that much left after I got down to Bernard Berrian.

Every thing after that looked mediocre at best.

Multiple kickers and defenses, and a third QB, are luxuries that would be better spent on RB's and WR's. You can always pick one up for a bye week, and if one of your back-up skill players gets hot it puts you in good position to pull off a trade.

Keep an eye on the first week stats and try to pick some up then. Guys always come out of nowhere at the beginning of the year.

I don't plan on making any trades.

We're only allowed a certain number of moves - i think like 5.

That makes a huge difference, then.

All 5 of your moves should be centered around getting more WR and RB

We can still add more players I think.

I always have 2 defenses till the bye weeks are over but I only carry one kicker. Once I get to my kicker's bye week I either swap them out or pick one up temporarily for that week. Kickers aren't a big deal to me. I worry about my backs and receivers getting the bulk of my points.

I see.

I noticed others were picking up 2 kickers as well.

Perhaps they plan on doing what you're doing.

He is hoping he has drafted these sleepers so he won't have to use his limited pickups to get them later.

Gonzalez I think is one. But Kevin Jones may never be the same again.

Probably 4th considering he got Gore.

Sometimes it's impossible to pick up those sleepers. It's always fun to watch fantasy owners scramble for a certain player in the middle of opening day. I remember a few years ago when Willie Parker first started in Pittsburgh and there was a mad scramble to pick him up.

Patti

I drafted 3rd.

I originally said LJ because LT went 1st, and Steven Jackson went 2nd, but I switched to Gore before the commish could write down LJ so I got Gore.

I decided to go with Gore because Herman has a thing for over burdening his RBs - See Curtis Martin.
