View Full Version : Bills are stashing Morgan and Manning

I *think* that both of these players are being released early to give them a chance to sign the players to the practice squad. Teams have done this in the past - cut players they wanted in next-to-last cut hoping the cuts would not be noticed at end of pre-season cuts.

Brown specifically mentioned Morgan in that regard.

I think Morgan will be on the PS, and they might keep G.wilson as a extra saftey and backup WR and ST player, to save a roster spot for someone else, Manning was a surprise i think at least on D he played better than both Stamer and Haggan, but ST is the bread and butter, i liked Manning at Michigan but he might not be eligble for the PS, cause he started games in GB

Nope. Did not read Chris Brown's blog - just what I have seen from the Bills before in first cut.

Looks like, if it was a plan to stash Manning, a bad one for Manning was picked up for this week at least by Jacksonvlle.

Do you really think any GM's in the NFL would not notice that players were released by other NFL teams? Well, maybe one would possibly do something like that.
