5:13 PT: The Star Ledger reports the New York Jets are close to signing free agent PK Doug Brien (Vikings), according to a league official with knowledge of the Jets. He would attempt to replace PK John Hall.

I hope they get his field goal missing ass!

Jets are reeling...barring injuries they will finish last in the division, imo.

For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
