according to V-Coach.

Also, it says more roster moves coming by 4 pm- probably just cutting some of the camp fodder.

Damn it. That sucks. I was hoping he would heal and then they would let him push for the RG or C position. :ill:

I was hoping he'd provide some depth but we still have Butler and Pennington.

It's pretty much a given that Fowler's going to start. I think Preston's hold on starting at RG is tenuous at best. I think Whittle is going to begin the season as RG starter, and Butler will get moved in when he's had the chance to fully recuperate and get up to speed in practice. That could take half a season. Preston is going to be a depth player.

Merz knew his shoulder had issues well before the season began. He decided to gamble and he lost. I'm trying to figure out who is dumber, him or the Bills. Had he had the surgery in January he could have been ready to play by the summer.

It's a shame. I liked Merz, from what I saw of him. Hopefully he can recover and get back for next year....

Not true.
The way we're looking, that would leave only about 13-14 players left on the team.

BTW.

With Butler banged up, say goodbye to anychance of us having the balls to cut that scrub Preston.

Preston was never getting cut anyway. I agree that hes not very good, but he has more experience than Merz or Butler or Pennington, so he was never in danger of being cut.
