He has a tweek and is simply resting until regular season. No need for concern.

Calf injuries are funny that way. If you gamble and take the chance playing on it, you risk injuring a hamstring or the other calf (as you tend to favor one leg). No need to put (argueably) the Bills best player on the field at risk.

It doesn't sound too serious, but I don't see any reason to play him. Let him rest it.

I think it was a nagging hamstring injury for Moulds that ruined a promising 2003 season. Or maybe it was his groin. Either way, it killed our offense.

Lee's injury doesn't worry me but Crowell's does. Swollen knees tend to linger. We need him at 100% every Sunday to put up a fighting chance.

Crowell gutting it out

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>CROWELL GUTTING IT OUT: Angelo Crowell has been practicing the last couple of days, but has been gutting it out. He doesn't appear to be his usually fluid fast-moving self as the swollen knee that kept him out of a week of training camp practices still appears to be affecting him. No word on whether he's a longshot to play Thursday night, but it wouldn't be surprising if he's rested.

Bruce Smith made a career out of swolen knees. I can't remember him participating in a single training camp... scope and clean this... renegotiate that.

I dont care if its precautionary or not.

If there is ONE THING this Bills offense does NOT need is for Lee Evans to get hurt, sore, whatever..

As do #1 corners in the AFC East.

He will be sore, no matter what happens.
