    The Jaguars are parting ways with quarterback Byron Leftwich after four frustrating, injury-filled seasons.


    The Jacksonville Jaguars will name David Garrard their starting quarterback for the 2007 season on Friday, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported.

    Team and league sources said that former starter Byron Leftwich will likely be traded or released.

                  Why would they announce that they would release him. Doesnt that take away any trade value he would have?

                    They all look alike...Jacksonville QBs, that is.

                          ML will pick him up next week off the wire. He's perfect. Lefty will take Preston's place as backup center. The guy's big enough and is elusive, mean quick. Who better can pickup JP's cadence than an ex-qb?
