...RB Fred Jackson.

"Unfortunately, it came down to a numbers game and we didn't have room for another back."

If Shaud Williams makes this team over him, I will not be very happy.

You aint kidding. Freddy put in work this offseason, he should be on this team.

If Jackson makes the team, it will be because he can return kickoffs. With the concussion to McGee, there are few options there.

It will be down to Jackson and Scobey for the kickoff return spot.

They might release him knowing that he may get more playing time with another squad, and will do it plainly for his sake. I hope Shaud gets cuts, but I am worried it isn't going to happen.

My Buddy and I talked today and he's a Packer fan, and he said that the Packers are eyeing Fred Jackson and Pierre Thomas in New Orleans. Isn't that interesting when you consider that the conventional wisdom was that in March our RB depth was Anthony Thomas and NO ONE ELSE!!

Oh, by the way, my suprise cut is Duke Preston with Christian Gaddis making this team!

I got two, one depends if we pick someone else up....

Craig Nall - depends if we pick up another QB to be the third guy.

Jason Webster...whether we pick up someone new or not is immaterial.

Your buddy is either full of **** or the Packers plan on keeping five RB's. :idunno:

Packers acquired RB Ryan Grant from the Giants for an undisclosed draft pick.
His fine preseason has earned him a chance to get carries in Green Bay's thin backfield. He could start out as the third or fourth back behind Brandon Jackson, Vernand Morency, and possibly Noah Herron. The Packers nabbed Vernand Morency in a simialarly-timed swap last year and he would up playing a big role. Grant is worth a look in deep dynasty leagues.
